Hi there! I'm a financial planner for therapists!

The best party of the holiday season.

Hey Reader,

Next week is Thanksgiving. That blows my mind.

But it means the holiday season is officially upon us!

And in the spirit of the giving season, I've got an early gift for you.

I'm a financial planner for therapists. That means I help folks like you navigate every aspect of their financial life. My goal is to facilitate improved financial health and wellness.

Financial health probably sounds good. But what does that actually mean?

Financial health means the ability to live the life you feel truly called to live without undue financial anxiety, worry or uncertainty.

I truly believe financial planning is a helping profession.

I help folks build a better experience of living. I just happen to use tools from the world of money and finance to do so.

But not everyone needs - or wants - an ongoing financial partner like what I offer.

But I still want to be of service to as many folks as I possibly can.

I want you to have the chance to get the perspective of a fee-only, fiduciary financial planner. Regardless of whether you want to work with me one-on-one.

For that reason, I'm offering a...

Free "Ask Me Anything" Office Hours on Monday December 12th

Yes, free. Open to anyone.

Come ask whatever financial questions are on your mind.

Click here to save your seat.

If you can't make it, yup it'll be recorded. I'll send everyone who registers the link to the recording.

As I write this, there are about 75 spots still available.

I've never done this before, so I have no idea how many folks will sign up.

Maybe virtually no one will turn up, and you can get a free one-on-one session with me!

Or maybe the slots will fill up within minutes of me sending this email.

I've no idea! 🤷

(But if it's popular, I'll probably hold another some time in 2023... )

Have a fantastic turkey day!

Dave

PS: I was recently lucky enough to join Reina Lombardi on her podcast, The Creative Psychotherapist! We had a really fun (yes, FUN!) conversation about financial planning for therapists.

Hi there! I'm a financial planner for therapists!

David W. Frank

I help therapists navigate every element of their financial lives: from understanding your practice P&L and building a personal budget to managing student loan debt and investing for retirement... and everything in between. But don't let my love of the tax code and spreadsheets scare you off! You're just as likely to find me with my nose buried in one of Pema Chodron's books as reading up on the latest financial planning techniques.

Hello Reader, Want the mindset that brings unlimited willpower? Keep reading and it could be yours! 👇 We’ve been taught that willpower is a limited resource. Many of us believe that willpower is like a battery – full at the start of the day, but depleted as the day wears on. Hello Reader, It wasn’t just a good day, it was a GREAT day. I was clear-headed, sharp, uber-productive. I was flying through my to-do list, and doing (IMHO) my best work, when I made a quick pivot to dispatch some emails. One email was from HR, announcing a change to the vacation policy. What? That’s interesting. Without hesitation, I click on the attached PDF to see if it was good news or bad. And just like that… I had been phished. I knew that clicking on a suspicious attachment could...
